Week 14

When I was younger I used to read a bunch of  comics. Growing up as a dyslexic kid, It was kinda hard to get me to read at all, but at some point my mom and dad took me to a used book store with a bunch of comics and manga. I rember also looking going forward to going to downtown houston with the book store to pick some random comic to read just beacuse i liked the cover. I used to even write comics and share them with my friends in like middle school and onhttp://www.whompcomic.com/comic/under-lock-and-peeWhomp is self deprecating comic about the writer himself. He lives with his fictitious roommates that may or may not be based on real people. At it's best, It's very realtieable with it's lovable loser character Ronnie. almost to a point where it's kinda hard for me to read at points. Although I do think it's pretty hit or miss but it's probably the most consistent webcomic I read.

Rosianna Rabbit is a vulgar and dark comic. The humor also kinda just revolves around the shock valve of the dirty jokes about sex drugs and suicide. You know the good stuff. After reading some of those underground comics this might seem kinda vanilla at least pg-13 in comparison. I still enjoy reading it regardless.

Maybe Schadenfreude is the right word of why I keep up with this junk. Heathcliff is a comic with alot of history to sueing Jim Davids for also writing a comic about a fat orange cat to having a failed movie in movie in 2012 that is now concerned lost media. For whatever reason someone is keeping up with writing heathcliff comics and having them printed in local new papers and posting them on facebook. It's pretty nonsensical, not funny and probably not worth a read unless your like me

David Rapoza is a concept artist that i really like so when he launched a kickstarter for his comic I was pretty excited anyway. Steven Litchenmen is a comic funded on kickstarter that's pretty funny. It follows the lich and his monster friend living in a dungeon. At times it can get pretty dark and somethings there can be a lot of dialogue but i think it worth anyone's time to at least read the free preview online

I'm sure at some point one of your students must of brought up boxer hockey. It's easily one of my favorite webcomics by an artist I also realy like. Read it if you haven't. It starts a little slow but once the comic become more of an on going story than a weekly gag comic is when it really gets good
